    Gift Card Terms & Conditions

    The short version

    Flexies Digital Gift Cards are electronic stored value in Australian dollars. They are valid for three years, carry no post-purchase fees, can be shared with someone else and can be used over more than one order until the balance is gone.

    Buying and delivery

    • Gift cards are issued in Australian dollars (AUD) in the value selected at checkout.
    • The digital gift card and its code are sent to the email address used at checkout. The purchaser can forward the code to their chosen recipient.
    • Discount codes and promotional offers cannot be applied to the purchase of a gift card.
    • A gift card cannot be used to purchase another gift card.
    • No physical card is posted and no delivery fee applies to a gift-card-only order.

    Please check the checkout email address carefully. If the gift card does not arrive, contact us at hello@flexies.com.au with the order number.

    Validity and fees

    A Flexies Digital Gift Card is valid for three years from its date of issue. The expiry date is provided with the gift card. Any remaining balance expires at the end of that period unless Australian law requires otherwise.

    Flexies does not charge activation, account-maintenance, inactivity or other post-purchase fees on gift cards.

    Using a gift card

    • Enter the gift-card code at checkout on flexies.com.au.
    • The balance can be used towards eligible products, applicable taxes and shipping costs.
    • If the order total is greater than the available balance, the remaining amount can be paid using another payment method accepted at checkout.
    • If the order total is lower than the available balance, the rest stays on the gift card for a later order.
    • An eligible discount code may be used on products in the same checkout because the gift card is a payment method, not a promotional code.
    • A gift card may be used towards the first payment of a subscription, but it cannot pay later recurring subscription charges.
    • Gift cards cannot be reloaded, redeemed for cash or used after their balance is exhausted, except where required by law.

    Sharing and keeping the code safe

    An unused gift card may be transferred by sharing its code. Anyone who has the code may be able to spend the available balance, so the purchaser and recipient are responsible for keeping it secure and should report suspected misuse promptly.

    If a code is lost, deleted or stolen, Flexies may replace its remaining balance when the purchaser provides satisfactory proof of purchase and identity. We cannot replace value that was redeemed before the issue was reported or before we could reasonably act on it.

    Refunds and returns

    We do not refund or exchange a gift card when the purchaser or recipient changes their mind. This does not limit any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

    If a gift card is not delivered, is faulty, is materially different from its description or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee, we will investigate and provide the remedy required by Australian Consumer Law.

    Products bought using a gift card remain subject to our Refund Policy. Where a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original gift card or original payment method in accordance with the checkout platform's original-payment flow and applicable law.

    Fraud and payment reversals

    Flexies may temporarily suspend or cancel a gift card where we reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorised use or a reversal of the payment used to buy it while we investigate. We will act reasonably, and nothing in this clause limits rights under Australian law.

    Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. Any change will apply prospectively and will not shorten an existing gift card's three-year validity, remove an accrued balance or reduce a right that cannot lawfully be excluded. The version in effect when the card was purchased will continue to govern where required by law.

    Australian Consumer Law

    Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, rights or remedies. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
